I tend to not be too aware of this sort of thing, partly because I don't watch very many movies and partly because I hyper-identify with characters anyway (which is why I don't watch very many movies) and have a hard time seeing the movie from outside its own internal context; it's nice to read something like this that clearly describes where the vantage points are and which way to look so that I can see it.
